Description:
Inventory Control Manager
As an Inventory Control Manager, you will be responsible, in conjunction with the Store Manager, for overseeing all shipping and receiving procedures in the store. You will also be responsible for ensuring quality control and that the store has sufficient merchandise to meet demand.

Primary responsibilities
• Ensuring that all merchandise is correctly identified, inventoried, and priced, and that the store maintains sufficient supplies to meet demand
• Ordering merchandise direct from vendors, in conjunction with the Head Buyer
• Handling all shipping/receiving needs for the store
• Inspecting merchandise for quality and orders for completeness
• Organizing storage area
• Communicating with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Managers regarding new and discontinued products

Job Requirements
• Management and analytical skills are essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous 2-4 years inventory control management experience - any specialty product experience a plus
• Computer literate (Word, Excel and Lotus Notes)
• College Degree preferred
• Able to work flexible hours
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Demonstrate consistent, reliable attendance and punctuality
